The laboratory incubator, also called a constant temperature incubator, has general features including:

Temperature control:
It maintains a constant temperature, ideal for the growth of biological samples such as cells and microorganisms. The temperature range can vary, for example, from 15°C above ambient temperature to 70°C.

Safety:
It is equipped with overheating protection systems, with indicator lights (LEDs) and automatic heating circuit cutoffs if an alarm value is exceeded.

Design:
It generally features a double-door structure with an inner glass door for easy observation of samples without disturbing the internal environment. The door is equipped with a magnetic strip for easy closing and an automatic power-off function when opened for safety.
Fans with adjustable speeds and operating levels are also available.
